Background: Textile Designer

Rachel had an interest in fair trade even at the age of 17 choosing her degree course in Textile Design on the advice of a fair trade organisation she was then keen to work for. The down turn in the economy in the early nineties resulted in Rachel completing a PGCE in Art and Textiles. For the last 12 years she has thrived teaching in Inner City London schools. She has maintained her interest in fair trade by supporting small business ventures in the 3rd world and buying fair trade products wherever possible. This venture is the fulfilment of a long held hope and dream.
